偉大的真義(系列之二) True Greatness (M2) 只為祂而活  Living for an audience of one 日期:3/8/2015 地點:溫哥華 十街宣道會 牧師:Ken Shigematsu  English sermon at tenth.ca 經文:馬太福音 6:1-4 大綱:真正的偉人並不為他人的讚美而活,而僅為上帝的讚許而活 上週在牙醫等候間排隊時,一對母女,女兒約二十幾,倆人拿起人物雜誌開始討論一則報導。我剛好也對此事有興趣,三人就聊了起來。 這就是火星一號計劃。若一切順利的話,此計劃在2024年左右會送一個乘載四人的火箭到火星去。是一家荷蘭公司資助的。需要提醒的是,這是單程!(有去無返的不歸路…)回不了家的。會有人有興趣嗎?超過20萬兩千人已經報名了。 我繼續在這牙醫等候室裡跟她們聊天,想起曾聽到一個很受歡迎的廣播節目,有一次是專題訪問一位年輕女化學家,名泰勒若絲。 她感到自己的工作甚是無聊,就報名要參加火星一號計劃!! 她收到電郵告知她,和全世界另外的幾千人,一起被候選入圍來推展新時代的第一道曙光—殖民火星! 若她被選中,照計劃進行,她將成為到火星四位殖民者的其中一人。在火箭起飛出發後,她一生生活所有的內容都會在電視上,也會馬上成名。 廣播節目主持人問,你知道你不能離開火星。那若你到了那裡一切都很糟糕怎麼辦。“當然那會很糟糕,但至少知道自己的生命是比平凡普通的工作、付賬、等死這些要強…。 曾經有一種時代,大部分的人會認為認真工作一整天,好好的賺錢養家,做一個為社會付出的成員,那就很夠了。當時的人們甚至認為那種“平凡”實際上是很高尚,很高貴的。但現在在這社群媒體充斥的時代,任何人都能蓋起自己的舞台和城堡,對許多人來說,安安靜靜地為社會默默付出,或認真工作養家,這些都不夠了,簡直微不足道、不屑一顧。現代的人都想要不凡、想要脫俗、想要出人頭地做明星。 我們的社會把名氣和偉大做比,看成是一樣。但上帝會這麼看嗎?上帝會覺得你臉書上有幾個“讚”可以用來衡量你的生命嗎?祂會因為你在twitter、instagram、youtube上有幾個跟隨者,或你的影音視頻像病毒般擴散,而覺得你很棒,對你另眼相看嗎? 我們在大齋期期待復活節期間,正講一系列的“偉大的真義”。 我們來看馬太、還有耶穌如合看待“真正的偉大”是什麼。 馬太福音第六章,耶穌出名的登山寶訓。祂這麼道: 馬 太 福 音 6:1-4 … Continue reading
